Libya has been chasing rebels with utter abandon to the point that it has begun to bomb other countries in an effort to kill rebels. Libyan rebels have begun to grow desperate and in an effort to flank Gaddafi’s forces have begun to leave the country, these moves have not deterred Libyan attacks. So far Tunisia has been the country receiving some shelling from Libya in an effort to attack rebels, and Tunisia does not take kindly to this behavior and has already stated that they will not tolerate it. If Tunisia does happen to demand the involvement of the UN then the United States will inevitably be drawn in, causing some serious trouble for the USD on the forex currency exchange.
The United States will continue to find itself at the center of many of these conflicts if it does not begin to take an isolationist role, and while this is somewhat controversial in today’s global market it could become very necessary. It is important to take preventative measures and anticipate problems before they occur rather than dealing with everything on the fly. Libya’s civil war must be fought by Libya and if the countries nearby are drawn in than so be it; America cannot afford to enter anymore foreign wars at this time.
