Despite a US economy that has continued to suffer during his term President Obama is looking good for re-election in 2012.  The President has been rising in opinion polls as of late due to the killing of Osama Bin Laden recently in Pakistan.  This killing has prompted many Americans to re-evaluate their perception of the President and take a fresh perspective.

This particular outlook has become quite popular in American culture and has caught on to a greater extent among the American people, and the recent poor performance of the USD has left a lot to be desired.  The approval ratings for President Obama have eclipsed those for Republicans, and despite the efforts of Republican candidates such as Donald Trump it seems as if Obama will win.

While it is true that Osama Bin Laden has been killed by US forces on President Obama’s watch there remains a good deal of problems for him to contend with.  Guantanamo Bay is still open, and there are two foreign wars raging in the Middle East despite an ever-more ailing US economy.

The American people might be temporarily distracted by a recent victory in the so-called “war on terror”; but many Americans are still demanding that Obama end the wars in the Middle East and do something far more constructive.  The US economy has continued to slump on Obama’s watch and as a result the US dollar has continued to slide against other currencies on the online forex exchange.

The healthcare bill sponsored by President Obama that passed has yet to have any real effect on the US, and as a result many growing even more frustrated with his performance.  Obama’s close-knit ties with Wall Street and the financial world in general have done little to service anyone other than the big banks, and Americans would do well to remember that.

Yes James, despite the shape our economy is in Obama stands a good chance of being re-elected.
